I followed the directions perfectly, and got a bad popup. It sucks. The test is designed to keep giving you chances to succeed (up until 265 questions ). I had heard about the PVT being wrong for people who ran out of time or got the maximum number of questions, but not for people like me who got shut off at 60. The computer recalculates the test takers estimated ability after each question, which means that no two tests are alike. Strong strategy translated to me being able to manage anxiety much easier, which wass necessary. It is one thing to study strategy over and over and think you have it down, it is another to come up often with correct answers to the difficult questions. I had underestimated the test, and had anxiety along with pumping 3 uptime energy drinks prior to the test which did not help. I had failed my 1st attempt.
